Startware Global was recently invited to the Australian Private Equity Tech Conference as one of the top panel speakers to share insights into the digitization of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).

Eric, like the other founders in StartWare Global, has had many years ‘hands-on’ experience in M&A having directly experienced both sides of the acquisition process – being ‘acquired’ and ‘acquiring’ a number of companies.

The theme for the event was “Technology in Investing and Investing in Technology.” It brought together many General Partners (GP), Limited Partners (LP) and industry service providers to share stories and experience pertinent to the Australian, New Zealand, and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

“It was a privilege to be invited to the event and a great opportunity to talk with investors and discover technology solutions that assist with the M&A process” said Eric Schwantler (CTO). “SaaS Solutions like Intgrea Partners which focus on managing post deal acquisitions, are typical platforms that caught my attention as future opportunities for StartWare Global on a global scale.”

Other panel members that joined Eric were (left to right on picture above) Toby Tester - Partner from Beyond the Deal, Dharmendra Singh - CEO Intgrea Partners, Josephine Meneses - Partner Tech Advisory KPMG and Eric Schwantler - CTO Startware Global.
